Teaching opposites

Hello everyone!

Today I would like to talk you about a great web page that I found surfing the web. It's called "Super Simple Learning" and has a lot of really cute resourses. We can find songs, worksheets, activities and even tips for teaching. Here I show you an example of the videos they make for their classes. This video helps to teach some simple opposites:

And here we have the flashcards we could use to help us on teaching opposites:

We can download all of them for free in "pdf" format. Have a look at the web! Click on the link below:

Teaching parts of the body

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to show you some options to teach our students the parts of the body. I was having a look at "GenWord" page when I found this game:

It's easy to use, also teachers can change the configuration of the game clicking on "Configurar actividad". For example we could decide to show only consonants, or only the first letter, or just vowels, or even no letter at all. So you can choose difficulty level depending on your students.

Furthermore, we could include a song like the next one, related to body parts. This song is also danced by touching the mentioned part of the body. It could be very funny, and we have two sheets to print the lyric of the song:

Teaching colors

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to show you two different activities to teach children how to say and write colors. It's appropiate for the first level of Primary School.

First of all, here we have a video-song which teach colors in an easy way. We could sing the song all together at class.

THE RAINBOW SONG

To complement the activity, we could print this worksheet where they will have to trace and match colors with its words:
