Teaching opposites

Hello everyone!

Today I would like to talk you about a great web page that I found surfing the web. It's called "Super Simple Learning" and has a lot of really cute resourses. We can find songs, worksheets, activities and even tips for teaching. Here I show you an example of the videos they make for their classes. This video helps to teach some simple opposites:

And here we have the flashcards we could use to help us on teaching opposites:

We can download all of them for free in "pdf" format. Have a look at the web! Click on the link below:

Hope you enjoyed this options for ESL classes!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Hello Eva!

I really like the layout of your blog. It's simple and at the same time funny. But what I like most is the kind of resources you posted on it.
I had a look at the website you suggested, Super Simple Learning, and it's just awesome. If the learner is very young and his/her literacy skills are not developed enough, neither in L1, the videos and the rest of the materials are completely suitable.
The video you chose shows properly how videos aimed at very young learner should be. I think this kind of videos do well in a pre-primary class. Moreover, it is a good teaching model for us to imitate and also we could ask children to mime the actions they see in the video in order to activate different kinds of intelligences.
On the other hand, the flashcards can be a good support for children to assimilate the new vocabulary.

    Congratulations!

    Kind regards.
