Today I'm going to show you two different activities to teach children how to say and write colors. It's appropiate for the first level of Primary School.
First of all, here we have a video-song which teach colors in an easy way. We could sing the song all together at class.

The video is short but very clear, so we can watch it several times in our class time.
It enhances active learning, because the students have the opportunity of learning at the meantime that they can dance, sing and play.
